  Dear Chef Johnson, What a superb eventing last Saturday! Over a 30-year period you are the first Chef to walk aboard my Private Railroad Car for the first time, present a fabulous five course dinner cooked on a 1914 wood-fired cooking range, and create an atmosphere of unparalled grace and elegance.
     The china and silver-plate used in the railroad car's dinig room are from Naval warships from before the Second World War.  Your creative talent coupled with your attention to detail resulted in a truly historic dinig experience for our Navy guests and their wives.
     I particularly appreciated your efforts in professional training for the two Army Privates who volunteered their time to staff the car.  Thank you for providing a "four star" dinner on a historic railroad car, providing guidance for some younger folks, and having served our country in the United States Air Force.
